My advice is to give up and never buy another Madden game again. You will never get 'realistic' sliders because the engine is broken. You may get realistic stats, but that's never as important as...

Bah, that sucks... ;) No one is defining their definition of SIM in these leagues and there are many different ideas of what SIM actually is... I don't want to join a league that hasn't outlined...

Defenders have their backs to the play constantly in real football. It isn't cheap because the player can still make a play if switched to manually, and many times even if you don't switch to him...

Moral of the story is... Take what the defense gives you. This game portrays football about as closely as a video game can. My new favorite play is to catch the deep zone coverman turning his back...

Lots of good information posted... only 5 men in the box. You can also flood a zone, run short crossing routes, while clearing out the with a Go, etc..
