Re: The Debacle. Check this out.

I'm pretty sure the stats were very bad before the progression patch.

Re: How do I fix the QB passing percentage of simmed games

Currently there are 51 QBs with over 60% completion percentages. There is 1, 1, less than 50%.

I actually just made myself extremely angry at how pitifully terrible the sim stats really are. Get a...

Re: How do I fix the QB passing percentage of simmed games

Sometimes playing with the defensive settings fixes this. I remember in NCAA 07 we put all of the defensive aggressiveness sliders to 0 and all defensive run pass ratios to 52-48 and it made the sim...

Re: How do you play great defense?

I play 85% man coverage, because the zone coverage is still terrible.....to be more accurate I think it's because the QB can throw the ball way too fast which doesn't allow zone defenders to get in...

Re: strategies?

I'm finding a total lack of forced fumbles by my team....most seasons I end up quite negative in TO ratio simply because I recover like 3 fumbles to the CPU's 10 or so. I'm thinking of spending half...

Re: Playmakers Madden 10 Custom Sliders

Thats why I've been plying NCAA and waiting for Madden to 'completed' before I fully commit to it.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Sorry for the long post, went to bed frustrated and woke up the same way.

Thanks for the sliders, they are excellent for me in all other areas, just need to make a couple of adjustments for...

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

I must not be as good at defensive playcalling as you, but the CPU passing game feels way unrealistic to me. The running game feels fine, but MSU's backup QB came in against me in South Bend and went...

Re: Blount Kicked off Oregon....

Just to point out a small technicality....he's not really 'off the team' as he will keep his scholarship. He's just suspended for the season.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

I love the idea, but you know my opinion on the whole thing :)

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

I'm also feeling like the CPU run block is a little too high....too many WR pancakes are causing too many 40+ yard TD runs.

For my tastes I will probably tune the hum pass block and cpu run block...

Re: How Sliders Really Work - A recommended read

I've been testing this and it doesnt quite work the same way in NCAA. Pass Block, for instance, DOES effect how easily the DL breaks their block.

It still has alot of good ideas in how to build...

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Here is my .02 about pass rush / pass blocking.

Yesterday I was playing my first game with these sliders....ND (me) at Mich. Had a nice opening drive going, stalled, punted, pinned mich at their...

Re: Sim Recruiting - Could be the Key to Progression

Yes, although no one else seems to remember judging by most of the posts I'm seeing.

Re: Sim Recruiting - Could be the Key to Progression

I completely disagree. I think its an unintended result of their 'lower overall recruits' philosophy which caused them to overcompensate by increasing progression. They said themselves in a blog that...

Re: Why do you think every single person chooses to kick the ball off in the first ha

Just so people don't get confused, I think you mean 'defer'. I was like 'they choose to differ?'

Re: Why do you think every single person chooses to kick the ball off in the first ha

In college most teams choose to kick. Only in the NFL do teams choose to receive all the time.

Icon13 Re: Progression Explanation?

I'm pretty sure they already gave us the explanation. Before the game came out in one of the blogs they said players come in a lower overalls, so progression has been 'tuned' to bring them along more...
