Ivy League is 1AA.

1AA has the Ivy League and the CAA, but some of the other schools are disproportionately terrible.

For what it's worth, the Ivy League doesn't participate in the playoffs...

On average, 1A schools are far better academically than any other conference, especially the BCS programs.

Georgia's defense was pretty horrid last year. I think they had about half their defense out for the season. They allowed 38+ in half of their SEC games and even made Auburn's offense look solid.

Virginia Tech, Clemson, and UNC have beaten nobody of note. Clemson is Maryland's only 1A win and North Carolina lost to terrible UVA and FSU teams.

Under PJ, Navy was 0-7 against ranked teams, 0-12 against BCS teams with winning records, and 4-18 against 1A teams with winning records.

He did about as well as one can expect a service academy...
