The regular madden ratings are what count in game, and as we all know they don't mean much. So even if the player has a crappy POT rating, he still could be a quality player.

What system are you using? Because when I played 3-4, I wasn't getting many sacks, but I played with Chiefs and the Tampa 2 defense and the sack count and TFL count went up dramatically.

99 trainer doesn't mean no injuries, but the number of injuries drastrically drops. Still you need to not overplay players (ie if your up 40, sub your second team in), and sub in/out.
