Re: Staff Hiring suggestions

Coach personality has a lot to do with whether they'll leave. There are some guys who will definitely jump ship if you have a couple of good years and they start getting built up.

Re: Defining Moment stops clock permanently

I agree that it would be nice. It's not a game breaker but it is annoying.

Re: Training Camp Help

I had this happen one time when I put hte plays in the last week of hte period for some reason but if I put them in at the beginning of training camp I'll pass the goal. I've never tried to switch it...

Wow RFA lost all play knowledge

I just realised something that really stunk. If you have a RFA and they are temporarily off your roster they can lose their play knowledge immediately. My starting qb did not ask to negotiate a deal...

Re: Low Injury Rating = Never Play a Full Game??

I got a 99 trainer after the first offseason. My second season I got enough to buy the next to last skill and at the end of my third season I had a trainer who had max abilities at everything and all...

Re: PING - Josh?

I suspect they've done their big update and some of the devs are probably taking a bit of a breather before they move on to next year's game or their next project. Things have probably been pretty...

Re: Low Injury Rating = Never Play a Full Game??

After you get the 99 trainer you can work on that last special ability. It may cure your injury plagued players eventually.

Re: hmmm not so realistic

I think it has to do with their personality and how happy they are. If a player is happy he's going to want to re-sign.

Of course my biggest beef with contracts is that they're obsessed with...

Re: I'm having a problem with this game

I play with the Falcons and the Giants playbook. Now before I say this keep in mind the defensive personnel. My linebacking core when I used this was Rivers,Brooking and Boley with Mac Truck Johnson...

Re: I'm having a problem with this game

Spags pressure does not suck. You have to have the right personnel though. Admittedly I had perfect personnel for it but I led the league in defense 4 straight years with it when I was playing around...

Re: Josh-Coach Skill Points Help?

That's right if you assign playcalling to your coordinators. However I think you can call plays based on your skill from the TEam preferences menu. At least that's what I would assume since it has...

Re: Josh-Coach Skill Points Help?

Performance is the most important thing. It will actually effect execution. Playcalling could be if you're compensating for coordinators who are otherwise good but playcalling is bad so you set...

Re: Best trade with the CPU in your favor?

Ok I'll give it a go. Number 31 overall and a fourth rounder for Keith Rivers with 3 years left on his contract. I traded number 3 overall for number 8 overall and next years first rounder which...

Re: (spoiler) Which path is Pryor in?

Cool thanks. How is it for running backs and offensive linemen? In the first draft there is that guy who gets hurt all the time and Sweeney? I just didn't feel like trading up for Sweeney. I could...

Re: The Tampa Bay Bucs... way too tough?

The true Tampa 2 uses almost exclusively zone with the only man plays being on the goal line so yes you would want high zone ratings on your corners. Things like tackling, play reading, and catching...

Re: (spoiler) Which path is Pryor in?

I'm not looking for specifics but how is the Sweeney path. I'm doing a new franchise and really the Sweeney path matches up horribly with my needs so curious to know how the path is overall. Last...

Re: Anyone Else Just Sim the Games?

I do occasionally. Sometimes I SuperSim through part of games that I'm winning big and it gets boring to play out.

Re: Strategy Skill

It also determines gameplans. The strategy skill of hte coach you're preparing with dictates how many times you can use the gameplan.

Re: The Tampa Bay Bucs... way too tough?

Power running. Flood one side or the other. Option routes with a pass catching tight end or RB are nice. Play action with intermediate passing behind the drawn in linebacker is nice. Don't throw at...
