Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

Man it's good to see fans of other teams talking about the Rays this year. We're in a bit of a slide right now but, I don't think the break could come at a better time for us.

Oh yeah and Longo...

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

Went to the game last night. What a great time! These kids are really entertaining. If people would just "drag" themselves to one game I'm certain they would go back time and time again.

As far...

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

Stole my thunder!

With another win today my boys are back to 11 games over.500! Just an exciting team to watch. I would encourage anyone living in a city the Rays might be visiting to take in a...

Re: Ex-MLB pitcher Gonzalez killed by lightning

I live in Tampa (some say the "lightning capital of the world") and obviously lightning is a serious issue down here but, only 1 or 2 people get hit directly. What a freak accident for anyone. Not...

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

Went to the game today and Kaz looked ok though 6. Longoria might be the best defensive 3rd baseman in the bigs. Bring on the Cardinals.

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

I really don't think this team will cool off that much. Even if the injury bug hits us we have talent waiting in the wings to come in and steady the ship. It's early but, I couldn't be more proud to...

Re: Why Goodell wont take away the Pats titles even though he should.

Let's just be honest here. Does a coach want his walk throughs to be filmed? No. Does he do everything in his power to make sure it's not? Yes. However if a team feels the need to film a practice or...

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

Atta Boy Matteh with the sig.

Rays looked damn impressive tonight. With the diving plays in the outfield to (as you pointed out) the play at 3rd by Evan. This looks like a special team.

Re: 2008 Tampa Bay Rays

One of the best Rays games I've ever seen...

Longoria connects for a walk off HR with Upton on base to win 2-0!

If that isn't enough James Shields threw 9 scoreless innings only giving up one...

Re: Your 2008 Toronto Blue Jays!

After watching the Rays/Jays game last night, you guys have some freaking stallions on the mound this year. Should be fun to see the season long race between the Rays and Jays.

Re: Oregon's uni's help land a recruit from SEC country.

Wow! Just wow!

A kid that bases his collegiate career on the uniforms sounds like the way my old lady picks her NFL football pool every week.

Re: PETA wants Eight Belles jockey suspended/prize $$$ revoked

"Awakes them up". Let's them know it's time to go. Also that's how you steer the horse around the track.

Re: PETA wants Eight Belles jockey suspended/prize $$$ revoked

Nobody loves those horses more then the owners, trainer, and jockey. Did the jockey feel something and ignore it? Are you fuggin kidding me? I know personally I would find it fun to have 1200lbs fall...

Re: At the conclusion of April...

The Rays have shone a knack for keeping teams down and coming back when needed. I would say if the Yankme's continue to struggle the Rays might make a push for the wildcard spot.

Re: Paul Pierce Is A Blood?

Just a question.

He throws up a "b" and say I'm a Celtics fan and I throw up a "c" that means Celtics right?
