Re: How many times do you get struck out in one game?

About 2 times a game. I also don't walk though, I walk maybe once every ten games.

Re: Vulcan Change...New Pitch?

It happens each year, random pitchers are assigned the Vulcan change. As far as I can tell, it acts exactly the same as the Circle change. Out of curiosity, how far are you, which rosters are you...

Something I've been wondering

When a ball is hit in the outfield gap, and it is going to be a triple no matter what the outfielder does, what is to stop the outfielder from picking the ball up and throwing it into the crowd in...

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

Janssen - I was thinking Mark Redman.
Cecil - Eveland is great.
Hill - Thome is great as well.
Millar - Gomes is pretty good. Millar switches often, so both really work.

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

That is a good call. Thank You!

Carlson - Not that close
League - Pretty close, I'll have to try that instead of Schoenweis for a while.

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors '09 - Discussion Thread

I'm pretty sure that the DL# is how may people click download, not how many successfully get the file.

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

League: Too fast, plus the wrist movement is wrong.
Carlson: It is a good alternative, I'll stick with Sanchez.

Millar: Theriot is clearly the best, Chavez doesn't seem that close, Winn is...

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

I assume you are talking about Ricky, and not Davis. I'll be able to answer this better after tonight's game, but right now I'm using Aaron Laffey

EDIT: Yeah, after watching him pitch tonight,...

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

It is appropriate, since this is the Blue Jays roster thread. The answer is, he is nowhere to be found and won't be, as he was won of the players who filled in when the players went on strike many...

Re: Toronto Blue Jays roster edits

@Aaron Hill: Do you have a suggestion, I'll be watching today to try and spot something.

@Dustin McGowan: His hidden deliver is just Generic 5, Gallardo is closer.

Re: list of stance and motion changes

You seem to be taking credit for those, even though I'm sure that you have found these around the forums. Most of the Jays edits were taken from my thread or elTodd and...

Re: Why does Intentional Walk Icon not appear for each hitter?

Using the pitch out option (x instead of circle with the shoulder button held down) either can't be a wild pitch, or it is very rare for it to be wild. I've never had it wild, but I'm not sure if it...

Re: B.J. Ryan

Accardo or Downs will probably start the season as the closer, while B.J. works on his stuff. I guess it was a smart decision to sit out the WBC. I have noticed Ryan's delivery, maybe he should alter...

Re: B.J. Ryan

So he's now pitching in the 82-83 MPH range. He doesn't have Jamie Moyer movement, that speed is not going to fly well with major league hitters.

Re: B.J. Ryan

8-9 MPH? Crap, the Jays were already in trouble, now their closer is going to be more ineffective. I think he'll work through it, but he may still lose 4-5 MPH.
