I thought defensive assist at 0 turns off lock on D? Lock on D is a gimmick at best, but it's the only way to trigger the animation where you are pushed up against the guy with the ball

Artest has gotten slow on defense and is best at guarding big strong forwards. He is far from the best on ball defender in the league anymore

I don't know if trade logic was improved so this may be a good thing. Last year I think peja got traded 3 times in one season which is bad enough but it was for teams that wouldn't get him in real NBA

Does anyone feel running plays is less effective this year? Most of the time I try calling one the play stops being run halfway through for some reason and it's hard to get separation

All these "unlockable in the course of the season" things are dumb

Lots of people start associations etc at the start of the season and miss out. Same with the unlockable animations last year. ...

Pass interference?

I thought the rule was that no contact is allowed beyond 5 yards, and even within 5 yards it's only before the ball is in the air. However when playing the computer my guys get held and bumped well...

I like controlling the defender on the ball but I find myself having to play off ball defense and defend cutters into the paint just to prevent this.

It's bad enough in the half court, but especially on fast break opportunities I will be on the guy with the ball, and the CPU teammate will get caught guarding no one as the computer team gets...

Dirk did once. Don't remember the point total, but I was playing as the Thunder and couldn't stop him. Any space and he hit the jumper, and if I crowded him by using shut down D he would get past...

No luck in Austin, called the only independent gamestore I know of and they didn't have it yet. May check back this weekend, if not I'll be using my reward zone points at best buy on tuesday
