I'm in the US so it hasn't dropped yet, but some of those are disappointing. Was going to pre-order but will probably just wait and see if they patch it since it doesn't look like it was tested much.

I don't have a problem with this. I do think it's an extra. My issue is when a company sells an add-on that is almost required to enjoy the game.

I don't think you need a new company to do it. EA is capable of making players and animations look great. I think FIFA looks incredible and the physics are amazing. NHL is also really smooth.

Madden sales have been relatively weak since 2005. They have been selling around the same number of copies every year that they did before they got the exclusive license. The economy was not an issue...

I think people have been voting with their wallet. Their sales have been bad this year and haven't gone up in the last 5 years.

I had a lot of fun with the version that let you build the Texans from scratch. Not sure how EA would handle the logistics though since their would be uneven teams. Maybe having it add two teams...
