custom roster glitch

hi i was wondering is anyone else is having this problem when i have nba 2k9 for the xbox 360 when i download a custom roster when i load the roster after saving it when i go to team select the game...

unlockable shoes in 2k6

i have used the code to unlock kobe's new shoe my question is how do you put the shoes on a player in edit player is just has the regular options for editing shoes but no way to put unlockable shoes...
