Re: Heisman Talk.. Who's your Top 5?

If anyone finds the time look up Keenum's numbers vs. the common opponents he, Tebow and McCoy have played.

Very interesting...

Re: SEC football is unwatchable.

I wonder at what point the NCAA steps in and confronts the league about their officials. You surely can't have clearly fixed games under membership agreement...can you NCAA? There gotta be a by-law...

Re: Yet another Bowl: The Dallas Football Classic

1979
96 teams - 15 bowls

2009
120 teams - 35 bowls (Dallas Football Classic will make 36)

I'd say that's a bit out of hand but considering it hinders a playoff...I'm all for it.

Then...

Re: What state is having the best year THIS season?

It's clearly Idaho...no question.

Boise State is already at #6 in both polls and the Vandals are 4-1 after going 4-26 in their previous 30 games.

Re: Week 5 AP Poll

No, I meant OSU is too poorly coached overall to put together great gameplans on a regular basis.

It was great coaching in the Illinois game. We all know it cuz of how badly coached this team is...

Re: Official Big Ten Thread

It was 14-3.

The fact is, Michigan was never in that game. Never. I repeat...NEVER. Just like Ohio State was never in the 1993 or 1976 game. The contests were over before kickoff.

The 2008...

Re: Week 5 AP Poll

It was Ohio State's most dominant game since the 2007 Michigan contest (also played in the rain).

Grant it, OSU is too poorly coached to dominate more than one team per season but you have to...

I wonder what the record of any of the top ten teams in the nation would be if they had this in 3 consecutive weeks...

Re: Tebow hurt.

Meyer has run the score up on many occassions but I think last week was more about getting Tebow reps with what has been an underwhelming receiving corps to date. Plus with the bye week this Saturday...

Re: Official Big Ten Thread

I don't know what qualifies as a "crush job" but the 2007 win by OSU in Ann Arbor was much more impressive than last year's victory by the Buckeyes.

That was systematic mental domination...the...

Re: Bowl Payout Redistribution Schedule

In regards to #2, the bowl payout goes to the actual team playing even if they took another conference's slot. Considering a BCS bowl is worth $18 million (roughly), a conference like the Big Twelve...

Re: Robert Griffin or Terrelle Pryor?

Yeah, I hadn't been following Griffin too closely prior to his injury but if people think Pryor has shown anything...good Lord...help them.

Re: Tebow hurt.

The mere suggestion that Urban Meyer has normal feelings of sympathy/caring really discredit your viewpoint. I believe scientists are still in the lab trying to find out if the man even has a soul.

Tony Pike for Heisman...or at the very least...some respect

93 of 132 (71%) for 1223 yards, 11 TDs and only 2 picks.

13 total TDs with wins at Rutgers, at Oregon State and home vs. a very strong Fresno team.

A tap on the back...at the very...

Re: Is it just me, or are a lot of players losing thier helmets this season?

Everyone wants a concussion to get Tebow-style press coverage and improve their draft stock.

Re: Bigger preseason ranked fraud to date: Ole Miss or Penn State?

Florida consistently loses games to the 3rd or 4th or 5th place team in the SEC though...especially at home...so I don't think beating Florida should have vaulted them so hign this preseason.
