What level are you playing on?

I have been going back and forth between Veteran, All-Star and Hall of Fame and I can't figure out which is better. I'm actually starting to think that the levels actually make the play more realistic instead of harder. On Hall of Fame I see the CPU pulling up for alot more jumpers and missing and also the off the ball offensive and defensive players move around alot more then at the lower levels. I can also get more rebounds on the Hall of Fame level. One other thing I noticed is they don't just stand there about 5 feet away when you have the ball and leave you open for the shot, on Hall of Fame they get up in your face.

Okay enough of me rambling on here, what are your thoughts on the difficutly levels?

I have noticed the same thing. I can't play defense at all on Veteran, but it seems like I can on All-Star and Hall of Fame. On Veteran, it really seems like the AI never misses a shot, especially against the better teams. I started thinking that maybe it was "compensation" for their weaker defense, and I think that might be right. It is so easy to score on Veteran that you would be winning every game by 50 if the AI didn't hit every shot.

I have found much better playing games on the higher difficulty levels. It isn't because the game is too easy, either - there is just too much "cheese" and "that shot should have had NO chance to go in." On the higher levels, they don't go in.

The ball distribution is also better on the higher levels. I played the Thunder on Veteran (with the Suns), and was completely lit-up by Durant and Westbrook, but by absolutely NOBODY else. Jeff Green had 2 points and nobody else scored. I moved it up to Hall of Fame, and all of a suddenly everybody is scoring (even though Durant is a beast and gets his points anyway!).

Good I just thought I was going crazy but it looks like Hall of Fame might just be the way to go for realism and a challenge.

I agree that the higher level that you go up the game becomes more realistic. It is a shame that they did not put that in the demo because people got the wrong impression of how solid the ai is when you level up in this game.

I've been playing on veteran or all star and the games have been fine. Doing the challenges in the life on HOF, is pretty f'ing challenging IMO. Especially trying to complete all of the challenges they offer, has anyone else been doing this?

Yea since I heard the life was not too deep I played on HOF. This is really extending my playing time because I can not beat all the challenges right away.
