I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason Sony just can't make a decent b-ball title. Maybe they need to take a year off and start it over with a new game.

its looking better. i think they'll eventually get it right just like they did with their baseball game.

it does look better, but why is everyone super buff, even skinny *** KG is swollen in this game.

they need to slim up the players and the models would look better. but that alone will make me not want this game. Sorry to say, the goofy animated looking models with he-man bodies will not do for me.

The animations look very well done, and the graphics are pretty good overall (crowd looks phenomenal). I'll agree that the player models themselves are a bit too bulky, so slimming the player models overall would definitely help. I'm also a bit disappointed that this will be the third year they do not incorporate signature jumpshots.

It just seems like the developers are comfortable with being the third wheel of the basketball titles and they're not putting in all the creative effort like the MLB developers (which is unfortunate). I think the developers would have been smart to focus less on The Life feature and more on perfecting the gameplay and graphics. Looks like a rental for me so far unless I'm amazed over the next few months.

Looking like a much improved game from last year. I will definitely be taking a look at this game later on this year; especially since they brought back Life mode.

Some of the animations look very good and it moves very fluid.I will rent this game and give it a try.

The player models needs some fine tuning but the gameplay looks pretty solid.

The models needs detailing,definition,and needs to be slimmer.

The Models look too buff and plain,they have no muscle definition whatsoever. The Jerseys need some more texture details and they are too puffy also

I believe next year we'll have another decent basketball title for PS3 owners

I'm skipping NBA '09. It just doesn't match up to NBA Live '09 or NBA 2K9. I like both NBA Live '09 and NBA 2K9 anyways, so I'll end up getting those two games instead.
