NBA 09: The Inside Eyes-On Preview (IGN)

IGN has posted their eyes-on preview of NBA 09: The Inside.

"Along with these tweaks comes a long overdue feature: the inclusion of a franchise mode to the title. We've been looking forward to the Sony franchise finally including this feature, and this has now occurred with a twenty year season, as well as player development within the off season. As the coach of the team, you'll need to determine which players you want to focus on when it comes to improving their skills. This improvement will progress in their twenties, reach a plateau eventually and start to decline in their mid to late thirties, forcing you to make a decision as to whether you want to stick with a franchise favorite or make a trade. However, as a GM, you'll need to be shrewd in your deals, because there will be smart trades implemented in this year's game. No longer will you be able to stack your squad with stars."
