This Franchise has potential?

After seeing what kind of drastic improved performance was put out for MLB 08 the show..I think that the same could be done for this series. It needs an overhaul, but not a complete overhaul.

Good: Beautiful looking courts
Creative Game Modes
Bad: Shooting Meter
Unrealistic Motions
Graphics besides the courts
Better player accesories
Do they even use scans of player's faces???

What do you guys think?
It has the potential to be a great basketball game, and a real shot to microsoft since it's only available on Ps3

Hopefully with criticism we can get the producers to listen and make changes!

I like the shooting meter personally. I thing it lends itself to more realistic gameplay. But, definitely the game needs an overhaul. It should definitely copy the 2K series though. I really want this game to be good though.

I agree, its so close, yet so far. I want this game to be good though. I love the TNT-like presentation too.

I've never even touched this game before, but I after playing The Show for the first time, I'm hoping that they get this game up to par w/ NBA 2K, and then add some kind of road to the show feature...THAT would probably put me in basketball video game heaven

No where in real life do I see a shooting meter pop up. This game is fun to play, but sales of 60,000 tell me that it has the potential to be cancelled more than anything.

I could sell more mix cd's than that..lol!
Hopefully it gets a overhaul and give it their best shot..Otherwise it is likely to be canceled

I love playing this game, but there's so many little things that need it to be fixed! Rebounds, Blocks, Roster Management. (i do like the shooting meter, it makes it less stressful)
Until that day, 2k is the best, but I think this is a lot better than Live, no doubt. Live is sooo choppy and terrible gameplay, atleast this game is uptempo and fun.
