We have just posted some images from the NBA ’08 Motion Capture event with Amare Stoudemire, along with a video clip with Amare in action.

Excuse me but I think it's not the smartest thing. Amare did the mo-cap 2 years ago! Why do it all over again?! Didn't they save his motions so they can use it again? if a player does a mo-cap for a game and then after 2 years returns to do the mo-cap again - isn't it like saying: "OK 2 years ago we were wrong, the motions were all wrong, we had to do it again"?

Did you actually believe anything you just said? Does the concept of adding more animations slip your grasp? 2K did new mo cap, EA did new mo cap, why wouldn't this game have new mo cap? Why would you want to play a game with the same exact animations?

They used THE SAME PLAYER! He has the same motions...daaaahh

He has the same mannerisms, not the same animations. Who knows what different things they could be having him do.. New dunks, new blocks, new rebounds, new post moves.

I hope so, but don't forget that every player has his own style that never changes. That's why EA and VC have different players doing the mo-cap every year. Actually I wish VC used him for mo-capture.
