It doesn't look bad. It's just not at 2k7's level yet.

But, when you have a team that did amazing things with MLB I have confidence that in time they will do similar with an NBA product.

It doesn't look bad, it just looks outdated, and the player models look like action figures..not real people....Commentary is just annoying...guy sounds like a new version of Speak "N" Spell.

It moves smooth, but arcadish...also its just outdated..lol..poor execution.....

It will be good for kids, but for any respecting adult who plays basketball games...2k and EA will crush this stuff.....

Honestly, I like the texture of the players. If they had more details, they'd honestly be better looking to me than Live's. The facial features are so garbage though. They need to add so much to that game but it does have potential. The footing is horrible except for when a shot goes up or a dunk/layup is attempted. Very interesting. I also think they haven't taken into account the dunking differences between certain players. The big men have their legs formed like they're guards and what have you. Was funny seeing Dirk do the two-handed windmill. They really need to sit down and fix all the things that are already present in the competition. They do seem to have a top of the line alley-oop system in the game. I love how the players are cutting and going for the ball in the air instead of being teleported to it. What are the animations like in Live because 2K has just lacked on that portion of the game for years it seems.

Body types are so outdated on the real though. Their net animation is sexy. The computer seems a bit on the slow side of the equation also. Good that they can pump fake in the post. Computer seems to use the crosses and pump fakes at sensible times. Doesn't seem to overdo the crossing and things of that nature. Their passing seems to be nice too. They seem to have some good and bad things about their game. I'd definitely have no probem playing. It does seem to be more of a game against Live with its depth and arcadey type of gameplay. The game looks appealing.

By the way, were they honestly the leader on the PS3 in basketball? Did you guys see the Gervin Intro? If they got it to that quality, then they'd be picking up a hell of a lot of sales. I'd freaking scoop up a PS3 to play that type of game. Reminds me of the Madden target video.
