OK, not alot of action on this board but i thought I would throw my thoughts out there just because...
I was at EBGames looking around and wandered over by the PS3 on display and was watching a couple dudes playing NBA 07. I played the demo before and wasn't all that excited until I saw these guys playing what looked like a decent game of hoops. Didn't see the crazy dunk fest I remembered from the demo. So I thought, what the heck, I'll buy it. I bought the game and have been playing a couple days now and the funny thing is, I can't stop thining about playing it. Once I figured out how to stop the cpu from dunking on me everytime it turns out I get pretty decent games and am having fun with it. I like NBA 2k7 like most, but I think the controls are clunky and nagging things like not being able to save my play book, plays not actually working, the quirky menu screen have me less than excited to play it.
Granted NBA07 is a bare bones game of hoops with no real options to speak of but it does do a few things better than the rest like the shot meter, graphics (which I think are the best of all hoop titles), the 3 point competition and mini games, I'm pretty happy with the game.

Well.....I bought this when I got my ps3...and kept it fot 2 days...then I played the demo again......and I figured a decent way to play defense....so what do I do, I go and buy the game for the 2nd time and decide to really give it a good run.
I must say this game has some very good ideas.......too bad they poorly implemented. I really like the offensive feel of the game, but on veteran i won by 28 Spurs vs Heat ( me spurs ) hen I played on the next level and I lost ....drum roll.....by 72. The computer shot overall like 78% on me and I couldnt stop them at all. So, i took it back again and back to nba 2k7 I went.
