Homeruns feel unrewarding

In this game obviosly most of us feel that the "home run celebration" camera option is ridiculous. But even w/ the Broadcast presentations set to "normal" (no fast play) one would think that when you hit a home run that they would at least show you rounding the bases and maybe show a replay, but this only happens once in a blue moon. Usually when you hit a home run as soon as the ball lands the camera immediately switches to your next batter. So i'm wondering if i set the broadcast presentations option to "many" will it always show a replay after i hit a homerun? I'm thinking of trying this but what i don't want is the Too many broadcast presentations about stupid stuff.

lol, why don't you just try it?

You always have the option of pressing X if you don't want to watch certain things.

I always have it set to "many". Works best that way.

Set it to "Many". All HRs will get replayed.

Yup. Gotta set it on "Many". But I do feel that the HR needs an overhaul for next year. They need to keep the camera in the stands a bit when the ball lands and maybe show the fans celebrating for a few seconds and show the batter rounding the bases and being greeted with a high five or something similar from his team mate waiting to bat at the plate.

I don't get it.
Just about every homerun my team hits....I see the guy circle a couple of bags and he gets greeted at the plate for a handshake from the next batter or the next batter and anyone on base.

Exactly, I played a game online yesterday with Nem04, Molina hit one to Lt, I saw the ball leave the bat and into the Lt field stands from a view a little off the plate towards 1st base it was a great view, then you see Molina coming into 3rd and rounding 3rd,coming into the home plate greeting the next batter with a high five. IMO it look perfect. Great job MLB Dev team. Hop

Re: Homeruns feel unrewarding

I think it just seems too quick. It doesn't feel special or rewarding as OP stated.

I already made my suggestion... Make it like Pro Yakyuu games for hitting and no doubters. I agree with the OP about them not feeling that great.

While I don't have a problem with the HR celebrations as is...I hope they make it more of a big deal in next years game.
