SCEA please make the strike zone a little smaller...

I'm wondering if anyone feels the same as me. I feel the strike zone is too high, and overall too big. I know that SCEA is in full production, but I don't think this is something that's too difficult to add and don't think it will take a lot of time to add to mlb10...

I like the strike zone the way it is.

Are you arguing balls and strikes?

The zone is definitely too high but I'd like to see the umps give more on the corners like they do IRL.

Agreed. I'd like to see balls that are a few inches off the strike zone called for strikes, depending on the ump. But at the very least I'd like to see a much lower strike zone.

I like the variable umpires and strike zones just the way they are. I love seeing a called 3rd strike low and outside or high and inside. It adds realism to the game.

Same here....love cussing at a bad call that goes against me and cheering on a bad call that goes against the CPU.

Re: SCEA please make the strike zone a little smaller...

The strike zone is per MLB rules(exactly) and there is variable umpire zones(with a lot of leeway and umpire blown calls on balls and strikes)...so I don't see this as a problem.
However, I also don't see the problem with letting the user pick a smaller-current-larger strike zone as an option.

Jim I don't have a problem with the bad calls at all. They're part of baseball. My thing is the strike zone is too high. Sometimes it reaches the players chest and that's too high. I don't have a problem with the umps calling high strikes at times. I think the strike zone should reach the batters belly, not his lower chest.
