Is there a PS Trophy Bug I dont know about?

My profile shows ive played 3000 something games 33000 hits 4200 HR's all these different things yet i dont have the trophies for the "get 1000 hits" "100 HR's" etc.. and no before someone asks it has nothing to do with difficulty settings or RTTS to get these trophies but while on the topic ive have more than enough shut outs and some other things on all star to warrant some of those trophies as well.

anyone got the lowdown on this?
I like going for the trophies in any game, but MLB honestly has the worst line up of goals.

I think they tally them from games you've ACTUALLY PLAYED. I've already got the strikeouts one. Haven't checked in a while to see which of the other "takes time" ones I have also.

To add-on to what MatrixTN stated about playing the games, you have to play the ENTIRE game and be a part of every pitch. You cannot simulate anything within the game (half inning, etc.).

Do you need to have a profile loaded to get these trophies? I turned off auto load/save and none of my stats are saving even if I load a profile.

You don't have to have auto-save on, just remember to save everything before you exit a game mode or turn the game off.
