Should be a good one.

Took Game one of the 2009 ALCS over the Red Sox. CC pitched a complete game giving up 2 runs on 9 hits and racking up 6 k's. The Red Sox started the series with John Smoltz (This is where i hope SCEA can build some type of playoff logic in). Smoltz pitched well until the 6th giving up only 1 run and striking out 7. Texiera hit a 2 run HR in the 7 th and I won 5-2. [Reply]

i had a braves 'chise where i won it all (6 game series against the Yankees!) and was a month into my second season with a monster team of crawford, o. hudson, chpper, mccan, magglio ordonez, manny ramirez, kotchman and freddy sanchez but then my 3 got stolen.

replaced it, started again, HoF, chd sliders, 60 something games in.....I'm 12 games up!!!!! seriously, phillies, nationals and mets are all playing 500 ball at like 32-32 and i'm 42-20! obviously, i'm ROLLIN' but they suck! hope to make it two WS titles in two attempts!

LOVE the other updates guys, it's cool to see what other guys around the group are up to! [Reply]

Quite the lead...Checked the record vs the division. Talk about domination. [Reply]

Looks like the Dodgers are just having a ridiculous season while the rest of the division is pretty bad. Check out the Dodgers divisional record: 39-9! [Reply]

Have a season with Atlanta and have played every game. Started 3-13 when I was still getting used to the game and before I finally went with sliders. Traded Vazquez, Schafer, and Jeff Bennett for Nate McClouth and Paul Maholm in June. Picked up Moises Alou off FA when Francoeur went down with a knee injury. I have been using Hudson all season. Also cut Glavine, called up Hanson at the ASB. I don't have all accurate stats handy so they are approximated.

Currently 74-55 through Aug 30 with a 6.5 game lead on Philly. I struggled in early August and fell out of first and then went on a 10 game winning streak sweeping the Mets, Marlins, and Padres. I've been crushing the ball lately but wins are coming at a price. My bullpen is getting roped around by left handed hitting and Paul Maholm (17-5 3.10 ERA) just went down in his last start for 1-2 months. If I'm lucky he could be back by the NLCS.

*Francoeur was an MVP candidate before he missed 3 weeks with a knee injury. Still hitting .350 26hr/83 rbi

*McClouth is on fire with 6 hr in the last two weeks and raised his average about 15 pts. .300 with 18 hr hitting out of the 7 or 8 hole in the lineup

*Jurrjens is 17-7 with around a 3.25 ERA. Gets a lot of run support and has 2 CG shutouts. 2nd in CY voting to Maholm so he is now the favorite with PH going down to injury.

*Lowe 12-3 3.40 ERA, Hudson 8-8 3.65 ERA, Kawakami 7-9 4.20 ERA, Glavine 2-2 4.50 ERA, Hanson 2-1 6.30 ERA. [Reply]

I'm the Chicago Cubs in my Franchise. Right now it's August 10th, and I'm in first place at 65-45. I've had two big injuries that have obviously hurt me badly. On June 26th, Geovany Soto fractured his arm. He's slated to be back in 2-3 weeks, thankfully. My other injury occurred on July 28th, when Aramis Ramirez tore his finger ligament. He should be back in 1-2 months, so hopefully right before the playoffs. Soto is hitting .223 with 3 HR and 18 RBI, while Ramirez is hitting .319 with 22 HR and 59 RBI.

Now as you see my stats you'll probably ask yourself, "how is he a first place team?!" I honestly don't even know. My offense is terrible, yet my pitching is amazing. It's a shock that I'm in first place. Soriano and Ramirez obviously are my clear-cut power hitters. Fukudome has been a very huge disappointment thus far, hitting just .194 in about 200 at-bats. I'm hoping to bust out offensively when Ramirez and Soto return, and possibly get Fukudome to hit Major League pitching.

I plan on giving my rotation some rest in the upcoming weeks, as the division gets locked up. My bullpen hasn't gotten enough work, which can be a good thing. But at the same time, I don't want to kill my starters.

Line-Up
CF Reed Johnson [.260 2 HR 16 RBI]
RF Milton Bradley [.274 17 HR 50 RBI]
1B Derrek Lee [.341 18 HR 61 RBI]

3B Jake Fox [.248 2 HR 9 RBI]
2B Mike Fontenot [.262 11 HR 34 RBI]
SS Ryan Theriot [.249 4 HR 22 RBI]
C Koyie Hill [.189 0 HR 2 RBI]

2B Jeff Baker [.189 3 HR 20 RBI]
