Very nice on finishing top of the division. Perfect sliders meaning left on default?

Edit:i cant hit to save my life so i fast forward my batting, using all star diffculty default sliders. i can't hold them off ever
If you're new to the game, drop down the difficulty so you can get the hang of batting. It's a tough adjustment in this game and takes a lot of time and patience to get good at it.

Well, a tough-fought battle for the AL Central crown has come to an end for me.(CLE).
I just finished the late September schedule. Detroit took the crown by winning their final 6 games of the month, while I slumped bigtime to drop 5 of seven. DET's ahead by 4 games with three left to play. My final October series is against the AL East winners Boston. Wildcard is out, as I'm 11 1/2 back of the Yanks and Blue Jays.
A good season, not great. About to approach the offseason. Either I'm going to A) download Knight's rosters to make CLE more like their counterparts, (Although I don't want to lose Lee, he pitched great for me), or B) Make some moves myself. I know Sowers and Pavano have got to go; they s*cked during the final series.
Decision time after the final series.....:-)[Reply]

Tough break, and tough way to end the hunt on a skid like that. But keep your head up, you could have done what I did in my first '09 season, and win the division and then get swept in three listless games by a Braves team that I took 5 of 6 from in the regular season.
I hope you finish another season and put the Tigers in their place.

What hurt the most, was getting swept by Texas. Those boys love to hit......Pavano had his worst and shortest outing of the year: Didn't make it out of the first!! Gave up 6 runs on 8 hits, with one being a 3 run HR.
Yikes.........And at that time, I was tied w/Detroit, so it was a must win series......

Same thing happened to me ( Cubs). I got really hot at the end of the season to leap over St.louis for first and finish ahead of the Mets by 1 game for home field. Needless to say the Mets took me out in 4 games :-).
