Splash Hits Counter at AT&T

ive been playing this game since release, but for whatever reason i just thought about this recently. does the counter ever change? i dont hit many homers and i rarely hit any to right field cuz i lack a lefty power hitter. but recently sandoval has been racking as a lefty and with the 40 man roster now availalbe, i called up john bowker as well. ive launched three HR's over the brick wall in right within my last three games, but i havnt seen the counter change, idk if this is becuz i didnt actually get a splash hit, or becuz it in fact does NOT change. anyone know for sure?

Ive hit a few no doubt splash hits and the counter never changed. Hope they put it in for MLB 2010.

I hope in 2010 they actually show the ball drop in front of some paddle boats and splash thatd be awesome, its the little things...

Over the Levi's Landing in RF they should also have the water spray out of the columns during HR's in 2010. Oh, before I forget Lou Seal the mascot should also be in 2010.

Two little things that would go a long way regarding presentation. I just mentioned this to a friend tonight that there should be a nice cutscene of splash downs at AT&T amongst the kayaks. Throw in the water spray and some fog horns, and you've got gold. Please fellas, put this in the game.
