How many times do you get struck out in one game?

Some games I see the ball really well and walk a ton, other times I get behind in the count as a hitter and get impatient.
But on average I strike out maybe 5-6 times in a game, when I'm facing an ace it can rise to anywhere up to 10, but when I face a 4 or 5 gut in the rotation it may be 4.
I just played one game against Pittsburgh with Paul Maholm and struck out 8 times, and walked once.
What I want to know is how many times you strike out in a game on average and how you attempt to turn this around, are you patient? aggresive? Do you like to see the first pitch? When down 0-2 do you look for a certain pitch? do you know from the off that this is going to be one of those game?
Hopefully this thread will improve my hitting and others, learning from some of the greats on OS.

I was striking out 8-15 times per game. I bumped pitch speed down a couple notches and now I strike out 5-8 times per game.

5-7 with the occasional 10-11 against Halladay or Sabathia or guys like that.

Typically 5 or 6 times a game though I don't walk a lot at all either.

If overly aggressive 10 times a game. Depends on how I feel that day. I do jump on the 1st pitch way to much IMO. If 0-2 and they have a slider that runs away from me I'd say 75% of the time I'm looking for it. The other 25% is a high fastball.

That's one of the things I LOVE about this game. Never, in any baseball game, have I ever had a realistic amount of K's as a batter. In MVP, ASB, High Heat, I always led the league with the least amount of K's. This year I am like 20th and have several guys on pace for 200 K's. I love this game.

I strike out about 3-4 times a game, but only have about 1-2 walks. I think in my franchise I have almost the fewest strikeouts AND the fewset walks.

I think I fall into the trap of swinging at the first pitch a lot if it's a good pitch to hit. I've watched a lot of baseball this year (bought MLB.tv for the first time), and I've noticed that batters take a lot of very good first pitches just to get them settled into the at bat.

Unless it's right down the middle I really shouldn't swing at it.

7-12 times a game.. struck out 15 times in one game.

draw 1-3 walks if i'm patient.

my average is about 4. I had a stretch of about a month where it was about 1, then I moved the pitch speed slider up and I finally had some double digit strikeout games against aces.

About 2 times a game. I also don't walk though, I walk maybe once every ten games.

Really depends on the pitcher for me. I can average anywhere from 2 to 6 a game. Occasionally sometimes none!
