Would this Trade Work...?

Detroit Tigers Get:

P Roy Halladay

Toronto Blue Jays Get:
P Rick Porcello
P Ryan Perry
SS Mike Holliman

Some of this has been talked about here in the D. I wonder what others thought about it. This is for my franchise. My other question would be who can I trade MAGGLIO for?

There is no way the real Jays would trade Roy for that little back.

There is no way Detriot would deal Porcello for Roy, unless it almost guaranteed them going deep in the playoffs. Or that he would resign.

I could Detroit making this trade for two reasons...

1. Everyone said Detroit would not trade Andrew Miller and they did (along with Cameron Maybin). So they have proved that they perfer Vets over Rooks.

2. Roy Halladay would be here for this season and next season. If it doesn't work out, they can always trade him next year at the deadline.

However, I do agree that it would be harder and harder to trade Porcello because of how good he has been looking lately.

I can't see the Tigers making a deal like that for Halladay. Financially the Tigers are tight against the budget and adding Halladay will increase that problem.

If you traded Magglio it's a possibility.

Magglio to the Mets seems right to me for some reason. Maybe for F-Mart.

Haha. No chance. Magglio isn't doing a whole lot and he costs a ton. If the Tigers are concerned about the option kicking in next year, they may even release him. If the Mets traded F-Mart to get Magglio, they would need to give up as a franchise.
