List of Last Names or First Names That HOPEFULLY Will Make It In The Show 2010

for guys who do their own CAPS (particularly those of us who do not upload rosters), I and some others, would like to see more names...particularly last names added to the data base.

I'm in no way implying at all, that all or virtually all names be included---I know better than that. But as this list grows, you'll see that some common and fairly common names were left off for The Show 2009.

PS: while many of the Top 10 prospects of all MLB teams have their top 10 players' surnames listed, I am fully aware that other rookies who no one was certain of before the season, have made it to the bigs---and their names are not in the database. I get that.

PORRAZZO

Por-ah-zo

The closest I've ever seen to the pronunciation was Durazo so that's what I always used in RTTS. It would be awesome if my name made it into a sports game!

This is slightly O.T. but not really.

I sim out a few years and the draftees that are created have incorrect name announcements assigned to them.

i.e.

Draftee Gabriel Benavides is announced as Dan Owens.

It seems that if the name can be generated in the game, it should have the correct announced name assigned to it and available. If not, just have them with no announced name.

Also, most of the draftees have the same head and other features as well as generic 1 batting stances and pitching motions. The further that you sim out, the more vanilla and incorrect the league becomes.

This year, it's no big deal, I just edit my players. But it would be nice if some of these things could be worked on eventually.

I think it would help with the issue this thread is concerned with-- generated names should be represented under the audio name section.
