Re: For those who do fantasy drafts...post em!

I did a fantasy draft to hold me over until Knights rosters are ready. I'm also using Spring training to get fully acclimated to the game, finding the right difficulty level/slider adjustments. Once Knights rosters are done I'll be ready for my Pirates franchise. Anyway, here is the team I drafted:

Lineup:
1. C.Figgins, 2B
2. C.Crawford, LF
3. J.Hamilton, CF
4. Pujols, 1B
5. A.Huff, DH
6. JJ Hardy, SS
7. Shoppach, C
8. B.Giles, RF
9. Josh Fields, 3B

I have the #1 rated hitting team and #1 defensive team (player ratings-wise, not stat-wise). Some of my bench players are Ian Stewart, Ausmus, Nyjer Morgan and Im sure Im forgetting a couple notables. While my pitching is only rated as #28, I still like my staff:

Rotation:
E.Volquez
J.Shields
Bonderman
S.Gallagher
Scott Olsen
Phil Coke

RP:
T.Hoffman
Embree
Brocail
T.Pena
C.Perez
Russ Springer
Darren Oliver

I've only set the season length for 29 games, so will see how it goes. So far I don't have many hitting leaders because my hitting skills were lacking early on, but Im getting better so my lineup is becoming pretty dangerous. I'm doing real good in pitching, but I think I need to adjust sliders harder as my pitchers just aren't walking anyone. I play on Veteran and classic pitching.

I have a fantasy season going with the Brewers right now. What I normally do is create a player, draft him in the first round, then let the CPU auto draft the rest. Here is what I ended up with:

1. Rafael Furcal
2. Raul Ibanez
3. (created player)
4. Jim Thome
5. Joe Crede
6. Kelly Shoppach
7. Reed Johnson
8. Kosuke Fukudome

Who was everyone's first round pick? I am assuming @SlyFox took Pujols, but who did every one else pick?

@bdolski - I have no idea who you took first.

Re: For those who do fantasy drafts...post em!

I am using the updated online rosters and by the time I drafted all the big hitters were off the board, plus I am going for a young speedy defensive team...with that said here are your Washington Nationals:

Starters:

Josh Beckett
Gavin Floyd
Manny Parra
Brandon McCarthy
Clay Buchholtz

Lineup:

Jacoby Ellsbury
Emanuel Burriss
Carl Crawford
Matt Kemp
James Loney
Taylor Teagarden
Ian Stewart
Yuniesky Betancourt

I'd really like to have a shortstop with more speed but Jose Reyes was off the board and I'd probably miss out on Ellsbury if I went that route. We probably won't hit a lot of homeruns but we will play small ball with the best of them. I were able to switch out Betancourt with Reyes I would really like my lineup:

Jacoby Ellsbury
Jose Reyes
Carl Crawford
Matt Kemp
James Loney
Taylor Teagarden
Ian Stewart
Emanuel Burriss

As it is opposing pitchers are sweating anytime anyone gets on, it's pretty cool that they start throwing more fastballs (I see very little off speed stuff) and holding runners when anyone in my lineup gets on base.
