Online lag...

Something really needs to be done about this. Every other video game I play online I don't experience any lag, but I get lag in every MLB game I play online, some worse than others, but lag nonetheless.

Game is awesome offline, just wish they could get the online stuff straightened out.

I feel your pain, and everyone is aware and there have been several threads regarding this. It's not even just the lag, but also how everything is out of sync with each other. The online feels glitchy, twitchy, and just a poor version of the great single player offline.

Supposedly there's a patch coming but I doubt it will really fix anything because this has always been a problem in prior years.

I've had no problem with lag so far, just a couple people who had bad connections. I wish we could patch the players online. Make them cheat less haha. My biggest annoyance online so far is that there are people in the rooms who have been idle for hours and hours. I sent out about 25 challenges earlier today before I even got one person who reviewed it, and I usually wait a full minute, close to 2. Then once I got into games, lots of the same junk, people fastpitching, refuse to throw strikes, power swing at EVERYTHING. Ugh. I gotta just find a handful of legit players and stick with them.

Until they stop using peer to peer connections for online sports game, this will always be a problem.
