For you Show masters, how about helping some of us lower tier players out?

How are you successful with hitting? What do you do? Do you use the guess pitch/location feature? Do you always take the first strike?

You get the idea, so please, bestow us with your knowledge!

I am early on every single pitch. I didn't have this problem last year. If I consciously decide to wait, I'm terribly late on the pitch.

This would be a nice thread to have. Seeing that this will be my first year to expierence "The Show". It would be nice to have some tips available come time for the release.

I always take the first pitch because it helps me to settle dow.I only guess pitch when im ahead in the count.

When you guess pitch/location, and you guess incorrectly, does it affect your attributes?

AND, if I do guess the location correctly, do I still need to aim the left thumb stick?

i always thought it did, but i read where others said it doesn't. That would be a great question for one of the scea crew to answer because i wanna too.

I have been having the same problem....early on pitches and looking bad at the plate.

yes there is a penalty for incorrect guess, in the demo there is a strategy guide that tells you all about it, the penalty increases the higher the level you play on.
