MLB 09 The Show custom covers

I was wondering has anybody made any custom covers? If you have post them here.

I made one (see my avatar). I can't find the larger version I saved, but it wasn't as large as you would probably like to see. It is because I grabbed these shots from the HD Yankees trailer, and Teixeira simply wasn't large enough in the image to fit the cover, so I shrunk the cover to his size.

The HD trailer itself isn't so great picture-wise either, so you'll see some faults with the look of him in the larger version anyway. If I nabbed a regular picture, it wouldn't be a problem.

I didn't save a template (didn't really make one, either). I'm just using Photoshop 6.0 and I have very limited skills. The only really big thing I needed to do was recreate the "THE" in the title and the bottom of the border because Pedroia's face was covering it up.

I suppose I can make more though, if anyone is interested. I can only do it tonight however; I leave for San Diego tomorrow and I'll only have my father's laptop (mine is in the shop) without any Photoshop on it. So if there are any requests, please throw them my way.



EDIT: I dug up some layers that made up the larger version and merged them, so here it is. Again, Teixeira can only look as good as the source image that I got it from (the trailer).

I've made two covers so far. I wanted to make some for the Mets and I could only find a good Citi Field overview picture with snow on the field as you can clearly see in the picture.

I can probably do a David Wright one tomorrow. I can't do a K-ROD one because there isn't a game picture with him in a Mets jersey yet.

Thats right didnt think about KRod not playing a game with the Mets yet. Cant wait to see the David Wright one.

Sheamazin, those look good. Will look even better when you can get an overhead pic of Citi Field completed and without snow.

For anyone who is taking requests and making covers if someone would make either a Justin Morneau, Grady Sizemore or Lance Berkman (my 3 favorite MLB players).
