I really hope the legend-mode has nothing to do with a cheat-mode like most EA-games have. the CPU is pretty much unstoppable at the highest stage.

The sliders are more interesting anyway, if these work perfectly, you don't need higher levels.
tahts what i want too, but without having to be striked out 20+ times by the cpu..i want see more hit balls for outs, just like irl.

Some people on these boards really need to stop complaining and either get the game and be happy that you have one or not buy it at everybody complainall. Last year, almost ed about too many hits. This year, the game isn't out yet and we already have complainers about the game being too hard. Get a life guys.....

For real. There is really nothing to worry about. At the end of the day, how many people will run with the default sliders anyway? I am just happy to hear that they are making strides in making the game more difficult. I have no fears at all, this team has never let me down.

lol

I guess no one has even gotten close since Ramone(Russell SCEA) hasn't reported anymore game recaps.

I'm not worried, if the Lions can go 0-16 in the NFL my Cards can go 0-162 in the MLB..

Re: Legend Difficulty Level Un-Beaten by MLB Development Team

i mean how many of "us" have been saying that this game needs a new level and that even Hall Of Fame is too easy? i doubt they will ever come forward but i know they are here. even one of my guys over on Dynasty Manager used slider sets and tweaks on Hall of Fame with this Tigers and was walking over every team and winning easy.

now he is one of those i call "too good for the game" meaning that he is a great gamer and has great hand eye etc. once he went from sliders to straight default on hall of fame he witnesed a much dif game all together. much harder and lost a lot more games.

i truly believe that this game is what they claim it to be on default on upper levels and that is PURE SIM out of the box. i myself tried several slider sets this year with this game and never felt right with it, once i finally folded and went default on hall of fame i got a totally dif game and a much harder game and lost more.

how many of you have actually tried playing a full month or more on default hall of fame? probably none of you due to your past experiences with prior games that didnt have sliders that you just rolled up on teams. i really think that a lot of people have started using sliders as crutches and think that with out them the game will be just too easy and they wont get any satisfaction from it.

maybe just MAYBE this game or series of games by SCEA is the exception to the rule. maybe they have come out with a game that plays how we all want it to right out of the box. i really dont think enough of "us' have given thsi game a chance right out of the box and really need to.

i know that i will be throwing my hat in the ring ths year and at the event will be playing all games on Legendary default just as the entire dev team has done. if i lose i lose.

i mean sliders are great and all but i really really feel that most of "us" immediately go to them and are scared to try the game out of the box as is long enough to really get a feel for it. that is just my take...

I don't get how ANYONE can complain about this. This is a good thing for those who are in the upper stratosphere with skills in this game.

They still have sliders and the lesser difficulty levels. I am sorry but, what the F* is the point of having different difficulty levels, if you complain about them getting harder each one?

My goodness, grow up people.

Not to mention they pick baseball's top teams for the challenge to beat. Obviously they did that because lesser teams can be beaten.

If you made it through a baseball season losing every single game, I would have to congratulate you. Heck, I started out 0-13 in a season on the show 07(first time I owned the show) and stopped playing the game for a while because I was tired of getting owned.
