This "legend" mode....Is it harder due to better strategy etc by the cpu.. or is it that the CPU team gets artificial boosts?

I'm sure that LEGEND mode will be subjective to the sliders.
We all asked that certain aspects(sliders-difficulty modes) be more extreme.
I myself remember specifically saying.....when I put this slider to the left, I want to be able to hit an aspirin.....when it's to the right...I don't want to be able to hit a beach ball(or something to that effect)

It sounds like they gave it to us.
What is the old adage....?....."Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it!"

Davewins should be happy!

It would be georgous if the new Legend-Level would lead us to the feeling (my god, the opposing pitcher is really going to NO HIT me"), that didn't happen in 08. I could finish the game with 0-runs, but no less than 6 hits, most of the time WAY more than 6.

I really hope the legend-mode has nothing to do with a cheat-mode like most EA-games have. the CPU is pretty much unstoppable at the highest stage.

The sliders are more interesting anyway, if these work perfectly, you don't need higher levels.

You will have a detailed answer in the next couple of weeks so until then don't expect an official explanation on the mode.

Re: Legend Difficulty Level Un-Beaten by MLB Development Team

This is not good news to me. To me I am looking for the ultimate sim mode...meaning close to life. If I cant win...thats not sim.

THis is ONLY good if the producers suck at this game. But then again...challenging is good as long as we also has true to life sim.

Maybe its as suggested that the sliders really make a difference...that would be good too.

I guess like everything else...we will wait and see. Overall i trust SCEA so i am more than hopeful
