I'm drooling right now! (see, I produce unusually high volumes of saliva and if I don't pay attention, I drool...it actually has nothing to do with this intriguing news at all, I just drool sometimes...just thought I'd share...please don't judge me)

Anyway, all jokes aside, this has me very interested. I love this news. Hopefully it means slider tweaking will porduce more challenging results. If I could have the legend mode for when I play with a great team like my Sox, then have a way to still keep a high level of difficulty for my rebuilding project (but still have some chance to win) then I'm in heaven.

Hey Ramone, has anyone played as the Cards yet against the cpu? If not, then whomever plays as the Cards against anyone else in the NL is sure to get the W.

There was a rumor going around that someone in QA almost did the deed, but he choked in the 9th inning I believe. So me and Jason (one of the producers for the game) thought it would be fun to issue a challenge studio wide for the first person to win a game on Legend mode.

I'll keep you guys updated in this thread when it happens and try to give you the scores of the close games.
Thats becasue yall dont know how to play a baseball game!

what's the point of the legendary difficulty if it can't be beat? Do cpu pitchers throw 200 mph and hitters never swing and miss?

this could be a real good thing or a real bad thing...

if legend mode is difficult because the cpu hits better, pitches smarter that's great ...

but if legend mode is basically comeback logic level, it's disastrous.

Last thing I want to see is that. enough rubber-band Ai from EA...we don't need it from SCEA.

Can you post some stats from these games?

Perhaps this level is a little too difficult?

No I bet its the fact that CPU pitches very well as per slection and location. Also mistake free baseball and instead of the pitch where normally you can throw a 4SFB by say arod...he does what he does in real life and give it a 400+ ft ride. cant wait to see what this is about

I'm pretty confident it will be done right. SCEA handles their AI difficulty through the levels better than any other sports game I can think of. I don't doubt that Legendary will hold to that standard.
