No. I'm not reading all that again. I have a 5-line rule. If a post is over 5 lines, I ignore it. I made the exception for you, this time. Not gonna do it again!

But on a serious note, I wasn't really talking about you or Jim. I was just saying, posters in general always tend to go into topics where people are asking for improvement and requests and post about how this or that doesn't matter to them.

Nobody is saying they shouldn't have the sig batting/pitching but the way this was posted sounded like an ultimatum.

Ahh..

Once you noted MoM.... I assumed me.
I was mainly focusing on the OP's assertion that whoever had more and more accurate stance/motions would be king this year.
In my mind...I'm thinking..."it's not like 2K does them all and SCEA's are all generic"....
I'm all for more atmosphere...you guys hear me preaching it all the time. Certainly, stances/motions is part of that.

I understand why some people are..but as long as they are close and there are enough to choose from.....

But eric...to say whoever has more is "the champion"?....are you serious?

I agree...the **** should be close...doesnt need to be perfect. I mean for real...its still just a game. next gen doesnt mean totally life like. It means it sims good.

agreed. Beckett and Burnett have very similar pitching motions..no need for 2 seperate motions sometimes. I think they need to focus more in on unique motions.

I couldn't give two hoots about MOM, but when people talk about it and make suggestions to improve it, I don't ever march in there and post about how MOM doesn't matter to me and I don't care about it. Let people who care about a certain part of the game make suggestions and ask for improvements.

When I pitch with CC Sabathia I want to really feel like I'm pitching with CC Sabathia. The correct pitching motions makes a HUGE difference to me. Same with batting stances.
The corrext motoin makes a difference...if its way off that is bad...but as long as its close...seriously who cares...also sometimes dudes change things mid season and thats can make a previously perfect sim a bit off.

Re: Sony might of jumped the gun on that guarantee

See thats the thing...If I see one company do it, my expectations are heightened. 2K did that and now "close" isn't in my expectation...I want them as good or better than the other product. I don't care how ****ty the other product is, the bar has been set. Sony has the studio and the technology..Let's see it.

And don't spew this next-gen doesn't = real life ****...I don't want to hear it. Thats a cop-out.

Exactly. MLB 08 had the worst rendition of Sabathia's delivery! Not even close.... this is one thing 2K has down perfectly.... there is no excuse for 09 not to have the best players' nuances....

I'm gonna ask again because it got lost in the discussion here, but what is this guarantee that everyone is speaking of?

I totally agree.

Just as long as the most recognizable ones are in, I can care less about benchers and ones I never see on a regular basis.
