I think the "request window" has come and gone. These guys have listened to us the last year. If we don't like the final product, or don't think we'll like it....rent first.
Then how long after that will you have your finished rosters out?

Just joking.

I think too, that the amount is a matter of perspective. Although most agree that 2K had more accurate and impressive signature styles, The show technically had more (if you scroll through the list of available stances and motions). Neither fact sheet mentions quality at all, only quantity.

If I had to put my money on this, I'd say 2K still delivers the better signature animations overall. That doesn't change my opinion one bit on who will have the better game though

I think those that watch a ton of baseball... seeing the pitching motions, stances, and swings is a big deal. It just doesn't feel or look like said player without the stance. For example I just changed Brett Gardner's stance to Pedro Feliz and it just feels a lot more like Brett Gardner than it did when he had the Generic stance. If you just put different faces on the same generic body and everyone had the same stance and delivery, the game would feel so monotonous and inauthentic.

1) and the roster makers do a pretty good job of fixing these.

2) and people still argue over how a guy holds his hands on the bat, how far he brings his hands over his head in his delivery.

When I drop $60 on a game now-a-days, it has to have personality. I want Youk's personality, I want Utley's personality, Pujols, Sizemore, Manny, Arod...It goes on and on. This to me is 1b and only on field performence is more important. We've come so far that "close enough" doesn't cut it anymore...Close enough is MLB '98. Lets blow it out now because the technology and resources are there.

Or what? You won't buy it? Yeah right. You're still going to buy the game regardless, so there's really no need for nonsensical threats.

We'll all buy the better baseball game, and 2K's game is junk [in my opinion]. Having a few more batting animations is not going to change that.

I would probably play the show 09 with fewer signature styles...or give 2K a look?.... ok, that's a reach....

I only say this because sony guaranteed it. So, they must do what they need to do to keep their guarantee accurate. It has nothing to do with what game I will be playing...
