I just broke the single-season hits record of 262!

Vladimir Guerrero of the Los Angeles Angels collected his 263rd hit of the season off Kevin Millwood of the Texas Rangers on September 26, 2008!!!

By the way, I am using the HOF sliders provided by Nemesis04

Guerrero's current season:

.396 BA (1st)
36 HR (T-8th)
142 RBI (1st)
664 AB (4th)
263 H (1st)
131 R (2nd)
.634 SLG (2nd)
1.053 OPS (2nd)

With 2 games to play, he's also closing in on a .400 BA...we'll see if he makes it!

well i'm not sure what editing your talking about but i've tried editing players contact and power to 0 and i don't see any significant changes in the way the game plays, i'm with baa7 in that i think those edits only influence sim stats.

@ sask3m

I'm specifically talking about each players' contact/power attributes...most in the game are too high...especially the power splits (L & R)

Trust...I've been at this long enough...when you correct/edit/chage the individual players' OWN contact and power, the difference is like between the PS2 and PS3. There ain't NOOOOOOOOOOOO doubt about it.

Looking at Anaheim in my franchise, here's how Vladdy is doing

games played 147

.345 BA (T-1st w/Victor Martinez)

29 HR (T-3rd w/Travis Hafner & David Ortiz)

120 RBI (2nd)

579 AB (6th)

200 H (1st)

95 R (T-7th)

.569 SLG (4th)

.985 (3rd)

vs.R .360

vs.L .313

HR vs R 20

HR vs L 9

2 SB; 2 CS

Re: @ sask3m

if I may add...there is something to be said for those players we control...historically with baseball sim games, players who have very good to great attributes, usually wind up with better or extraordinarily better stats than their real-life counterparts.
