The stadiums in 08 looked pretty darn good if you ask me, however they really need to put in transition lighting (day to night) and perhaps some overcast games even though i hate those lol.

as for stadiums theres just some minor hick ups, I think if they focused on lights especially in night games that would help and doesnt seem like it would be that hard to upgrade

Bingo...if a night game starts at 7:00, odds are it isn't pitch black outside. Since it always is in this game, that more or less kills the look of the stadium. If we could get a nice sunset coming in at about the 6th inning for a mid-June game, that would be perfect.

I think one of their goals for 09 is to get the night lighting up to par with the day game lighting of 08. Kolbe's mentioned that they're going to be improving this greatly over time. The thing is they have different artists that work on the different stadiums. So each artist has a different opinion on how the cityscape lighting should be done I suppose.
Another thing you seem to be getting at that I've been wanting to see improved upon, are more authentic patterns & colors for each stadiums grass & dirt. I think each of the 30 ballparks should have it's own unique grass design/color, as opposed to just having 6 or 7 patterns assigned randomly. Of course this isn't that big a deal, but it would add quite a bit in making each one feel more unique.

I only play day games this year. Good to hear that they are polishing up the look of night games.

I hope Classic Stadiums are included in 09' and we can use them in Season and Franchise.

Dried out areas should be added to the grass to add to the overall realistic feel.
