Rumor: 1080p 60FPS

So I read a rumor the The Show 09 will be in 1080p at 60FPS. Has anyone else read this rumor? It came from an interview with SCEA regarding the NBA Inside Project Manager and that they now developer their games to run 1080p at 60FPS... he suggested The SHow will also be at 60FPS.

I'm just glad that I exchanged the 360 for the ps3 for this game. I will probably play 08 until 09 is released. To bad they can't get the NFL. It would be great to have a football game that doesn't freeze.

Great decision to get a PS3. The show is still spinning in my PS3 since day 1

In addition to having the show, PS3 games are region free so you can play imports. I just ordered Pro Yakyuu Spirits 5 (Japanese Baseball) from Japan and cant wait to play that game.

Man the motion cap, and the animations PLUS the bat sounds are phenominal in yaku spirits. I really hope SCEA redoes their all the above!

Trust me you won't be dissapointed at all!
This is the best baseball game I have ever played, and if there was an option for english, it would have been IMO one of the best games ever.
BTW, I still think the Show is amazing, just needs a liitle fine-tuning.

Weird how good this game is. Also its confusing. Didnt know that in japanese baseball, you dont have to tag up to score a runner from 3rd. Here is a good video. Also love the aspect that in yaku, you can warm up the pitcher yourself. Thats awesome. If sony let us have batting practice and warmup the pitchers manually, that would be so awesome.

Wouldn't 60fps be slow-motion since video is naturally captured at 29.97fps and film at 24fps?

Not in video games. 60FPS, especially in shooters and sports games looks much smoother than 30FPS.

And if this is true, 1080p @ 60FPS is AWESOME!
