hitting is too easy

this is the only problem with this great game and i hope they fix it for next year. i get over 10 hits a game and i am batting .312 in june after playing every single game with the dodgers. i play on hall of fame setting and i just get single after single after single.

I love every aspect of this game except the hitting. I play as the Cubs and I am hitting .327 in the middle of August. I also play on HoF and have the hit quality almost completely off. My team ERA is just under 4 but my record is 86-36 because of all the runs I score.

exactly why i bat only using the pitcher or outfield views.

Lower YOUR TEAM'S Contact ratings by 50%. Takes 10 minutes and then you're good to go for 162+ games. End of problem, and no waiting for next year!

Do you mean each individual player's ratings or one of the player 1 sliders?

I have lowered my whole teams by a couple clicks and it has gotten better. My last 3 games I am 1-2 and have averaged 8 hits/game.

I found I get too many singles but thats about it, I dont get a huge ammount of doubles/HR's

I play without the Guess pitch and Hitter confidence or whatever its called

Thanks Baa7! That is what I did and most of my players averages have been going down. My hitting has been really reasonable. 7-10 hits a game. I'm also 6-4 in my last 10.

I shouldn't have to do this if this was supposed to be a Sim baseball game but to each their own. Thats why i gave up on this game & will wait to see what they do about it. I have Socom to keep me busy!

I wish a Dev would confirm that the hitting is being tweaked/addressed or something. The ease of hitting has been an issue in the show for years now and its time for it to be seriously addressed.
