With the recent addition of this feature to both of the NBA games this year, I think it makes more sense in a baseball game then any other. I just dl'd the recent roster update and couldn't help but laugh that Alexei Ramirez is still white and Nick Swisher's number is wrong.

There are a few guys on this site specifically that are the BEST in the business when it comes to roster updates, and looking at what they put out at the beginning of the year compared to what SCEA put out last week, the difference is night and day. Being that baseball has roster updates daily, i would love for something like this to translate over the MLB series. I think the weekly updates are sufficient, but dedicating someone full time to release these updates with call up and call downs would be great.

Just a thought...

I agree, football you can get away with once a week, but baseball has transactions everyday. This would be a smart idea. But props to SCEA, they were the first to do constant updates. As good as MVP was back in the day, they only updated like twice a year.

I think it would be awesome but man, what a massive undertaking! That one area would require more than one full time staffer!

Is there just one place someone could go to get daily roster moves or is this one person going to have to go to all the team sites, review AAA/AA reports every day, etc.?

Can be done but that's a lot of work for a bullet point on the back of the game box!

I'm fine with the weekly updates. I don't play a lot of online/exhibition games, so I don't think I'd get much use from the "Living Roster" feature.
