Does anyone know? I mean it is September and we should hear alittle news don't you think?

Yup... basketball games haven't even released.

Nothing solid prior to December... and even then it will be a bit tight with the holidays and all.

we already have, there adding your favorite mascot , i sure hope they save a little time for fixing the hitting in this game

Nope, sorry most of their time & focus is going into making sure they've got every mascots body type & animation down perfectly, as well as their proper routines programmed. You'd be surprised how time consuming this process is with all the investigative research required. Heck they've even got the sound guys working on specialized theme music & sound effects for each one.
I just hope this massive mascot project doesn't put the new & improved player models on hold till 2010

A few days ago, Kolbe (or was it Chris?) already said the new player models won't make it in for '09.

player models are good enough for me, i'd sooner have them working on gameplay improvements.
