Whatever they do, they'd better NOT include the White Sox commentary team: "You can put it on the boarrrrrrrrrrrd...............yyyyyess!" (After a homerun)

Most annoying play-by-play guys EVER!

The disc can hold 50 GB of information, and '08 had an unprecedented 10 GB of audio, so they're no slouch in that department. 30 teams' commentators might be too much, but maybe not 30 discs' worth.

Maybe 3 teams of announcers that you could choose from pre game or set in preferences.
One team as your home town announcers, the other on the road (as if you were watching a game on in demand extra innings) and the third as a national broadcast team like a fox game of the week or sunday night baseball broadcast.
Not perfect but it would break up the repeat commentary slightly.

Those are the only ones they SHOULD add.

i actually LOVE homer guys and how emotionally involved they get. for YEARS now ive been suffering through the very almost dull call of the west coast announcers for the oakand athletics.

i love the passion and the love for their teams that the Reds, Cards, White Sox and Cubs announcers do both on radio and and tv. this is how it should be living and dying with every pitch hit, error, etc. every teams announcers need to be this passionate about thier team as they call the game.

I agree with you there, except for the Cubs. The one guy just says "Cubs Win!!!!1!1!" over and over again, and Ron Santo says "Yes!" repeatedly like he's having an orgasm. And it happens almost every game they win, not just exciting ones.

Re: When will we hear news on MLB 09???

Ladies and Gentlemen! This will solve the signature motions people have been complaining about!

A MUST HAVE for me:

People have been complaining about how the pitching/batting animations are very inaccurate unlike 2K. But I have a solution to make the pitching windup/set even more accurate. Its very simple have two options: Windup and Set. THATS IT. For example, you can have K-ROD have no windup as an option and have "Francisco Rodriguez" set. OR you can have Jered Weaver have Scott Shields windup and Jered Weaver's set. AND like Carew said for Brian Fuentes: no windup applied but have R. Johnson as a set. You can do this for everybody because some windups are perfect for others but their sets dont fit as well. Its very simple and shouldnt be hard to add in.

Thank you and I really hope you respond to this!

Re: When will we hear news on MLB 09???

if it was posible to have all 30 team's announcers that would be one of the most amazing things to come to a baseball game....minus the minor details like equipment and stances/windups

Haha, Schroeder sounds a little dumb, but so does Dave Campbell in the actual game. He would work well, I suppose. Uecker would be good, but it would sound like a radio call (like Madden 08, which everybody hated). Plus, he'd have to switch off innings with Jim Powell.
