A few days ago, I took The Show out of my PS3 for the first time since I got it and it was all smudged up. It wasn't scratched, but it was dirty and it was just strange looking. Like a 4 year old was using it to play Frisbee. I almost cried as I pride myself on keeping my disks perfect. All of my dreamcast games are still in mint condition, not a scratch!!

I just wiped it down and it was fine. But it scared me.

See, I never use my PS3 other than to play The Show. When I play other games I play them on my 360. I guess leaving the game disk in the system for months and months at a time isn't a great idea!

well i know ONE THING they ARE putting in and has been confirmed. FULL ON NEWSPAPAER STYLE BOX SCORES. complete with time of game, weather, attendance, umpires etc. whatever you see in the real life box score we should be seeing in every box score for every game being played in 09' ... im sooo happy... all i want is the ability of being able to watch ANY GAME on any day of the season including the post season games not just watch sim but watch as if it was a real game on tv watch... that is all i need to be happy.

this way i can keep track of my key opppenents and do some real time scouting for each up coming series, etc etc... this would be great for the post season...

Ah yes...patience, the greatest of virtues. But seriously...I am in no hurry to start thinking about next yrs edition....I am thoroughly immersed and engrossed and diggin' this years game....other than maybe jazzin' up the peripherals and a few Franchise additions...Im liking this game alot...as always.
I agree with you!!!! Ive been playing this game since day 1 and it is the only PS3 I play

At this point I think it has taken me longer to read all of the posts worrying about how much time it will take to include Mascots than it actually took to implement them.

Mascots.....always make me think of the KingDome....the Moose...the Moose going fast (inline skates if I remember correctly)....the centerfield wall....a moose with a torn ACL.....those were the days.....
