Dynamic Lighting is for example lets say you start a game at 4PM it would be daylight at the start of the game. And it would slowly get darker as the game goes on.

You would see the sun setting if the start time is 4PM or rising if your start time is 5AM.

Dynamic Lighting would and should cause different shadows to creep as the game goes on.

Sony I guess would use the PS3 built in clock for Dynamic Lighting!


Weather could also be part of Dynamic Lighting. How cool would it be if we start a game and its bright and Sunny. And then later in the game the clouds roll in and it starts to rain.


It would be very cool to say the least!


I am sure someone here can explain it better then me


But what I would like to know is are we 100% sure MLB 09 The Show will have Dynamic Lighting?

Again, nothing has been confirmed. I would highly doubt that they would add weather in to this years game, dynamic lighting i think there is a good possibility. Only reason I say that is Kolbe said that the art team had begun work on it at the end of last year, but it was in its very preliminary stages.

So lets cross our fingers...

For the weather, see NCAA 09... That is very good at capturing it. Was better in 2008 though.
