I'm really not sure if they do any dances, I don't remember seeing any in particular.
Reds also announced "Rosie Red" this year. Like a female version of Mr Red.

Also Mr. Red has retired... We now have Mr Redlegs..

Really? I didn't know that about Mr. red, I haven't been to a lot of games this year so that's probably why.

Re: Mascot Info Request!

I'm probably late and some of this probably won't make it in...but if you guys ever throw this in the game I think fans of these specific teams would be pleasantly surprised......

first for the simple stuff.... if it hasn't been posted here is Lou Seal doing his thang...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFKco41dQGk
Important note... on Friday night games Lou is Orange not grey...for Orange Friday like so...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBGJ1...eature=related

Lou going off on some Dodger fans......oooh please add this....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nsqqf...eature=related

now the interesting stuff.... if you guys can throw in MLB local rivalry games where both mascots are at the game.... like we have in the Bay Area... I think that would be great...

here is a vid of Lou Seal in Oakland with their mascot messing around and dancing "the Bird"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2ZYA...eature=related
or when they race with funny results...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgs5P...eature=related

Oakland's mascot as far as dancing....can do a whole variety of moves... should have clips on youtube.... I believe his name is Stomper

Re: Mascot Info Request!

Wally is kinda lame....but here is his doing some form of dancing.

I have NEVER seen Wally while watching a game, and he rarely makes appearances during games at Fenway in the stands since he gets mobbed. You might see him waving a big Sox flag on the field after wins though.

Re: Mascot Info Request!

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Presidents race in the Washington Nationals ballpark. Granted a ripoff of the sausage race in Milwaukee (pun intended).
I don't know how they run with thoses huge heads of Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, and Jefferson

Also, yes, those world-famous sausage races before the 6th inning lol.
In case you need to know, they race from the dugout about 3rd base ("away dugout") to the dugout by 1st ("home dugout"). Their names are Bratwurst (#1, Bratwurst), Stosh (#2, Polish Sausage), Guido (#3, Italian Sausage), Frankie (#4, Hot Dog), and Cinco (#5, Chorizo). They are actually sponsored by Klement's Sausages, so it may be a conflict of interest to put them in the game.

No good videos of Bernie on YouTube, but he mostly stays in his Clubhouse, and he occassionally tries to incite clapping cheers. He has large things that he puts over his arms, like kickboxing training targets, that he claps together while trying to get a clap cheer started. As mentioned, he does go down the slide following home runs. However, he usually grabs his Brewers flag and starts to wave it, instead of standing with his head down and looking overwhelmingly depressed.

By the way, great thread. I look forward to seeing mascots in 09.
