I'm not sure it is an autosave bug as much as an "oversave" bug. If you are playing RTTS, the autosave works fine. if you manually save it, it then has two RTTS files. If you try to overwrite one of the save files (preserving the two), it creates a third instead. Ad infinitum.

sometimes when you goto the save screen (With the checkmarks), it will tell you to save and I think it may have already auto-saved. An indication of the auto-save would be helpful because its not obvious when or even if it takes place.

It is obvious when a save is taking place ... if you watch the hard drive light on the PS3. When it lights, the hard drive is saving.

Yeah but this is the time I'm reading the stats on the loading screen. It should be ON screen.

Re: AI Follow-up Questions...ie The Boys are back in town....

A quick "fix" to the cut-off issue.... up cpu arm strength and up baserunner aggresiveness (hum/cpu). This was suggested and tested and works like a charm!

Now to the SCEA folks, I too want to express my awe and appreciation to your accessibility to your customers. And with you folks at SCEA, it's not the type of celebrity excitement (of course we could pretend to make you guys feel more important ) it's moreso the fact that you understand who really pays your bills and who you're accountable to (that'd be me and the rest of us ). You've made a phenomenal video game and yet you don't roll around in it like kings; instead you come back and continue to work to improve a game that has been rated as highly as a 9 out of 10. That's a first for me, and I've come away impressed, so thank you!

My ONE question/suggestion that would put this game over the top -- and it has been mentioned twice already so I hope its importance is starting to be understood -- and that would be an adjustment to the speed of the fielders.

Thanks to very flexible and effective sliders, many of the guys here have provided help and tips that have ironed out any other "issues" (if you even want to call them that) and the only thing remaining that we can't truly adjust enough with a slider is the OF/IF speed. The gaps and lines are just begging to be opened up and the double and triple are starting to be forgotten.

I'm not asking for a complete overhaul of the rosters and player attributes, but instead, a simple slider adjustment with enough influence to actually slow the fielders down enough to play around with on both extremes so that we find the happy medium in the middle.

Does the baserunner aggressiveness need to be increased for CPU? The reason why I ask is because if I have a setting of more than 5 (0-20 scale), I find the CPU making questionable baserunning decisions (i.e. CPU on 2B, groundball to 3rd base, nobody out, and CPU will run to 3B without hesitation.... it's an easy tag out)

IMO, CPU BR Aggressiveness needs to come down to at least -3. Otherwise, they make too many bone-headed decisions. I mean, really boneheaded, like trying to go first to third on a hard base hit up the middle.

I don't know if CPU br ag. relates to cpu players on your team or not (which might effect the thought process on this one).

I could guess but I don't want to send you out without a definite answer. I believe it was nemesis (forgive me if I'm wrong) that came up with the fix and I found it in the slider section under his HOF slider settings.

The easiest thing to do would be to download my sliders (jmik58 v2.1) from Sportsconnect. You don't have to keep them, just see what the baserunner speed and aggression are for each human/cpu as well as the throwing speed.

I hope this helps!

The global arm strength for the cpu needs to be changed to +5. Human base running speed needs to be at default or +1.

As far as cpu base running aggressiveness, it should never be above default and really needs to be around the -3 range otherwise they run themselves out of innings foolishly.
