Thanks so much guys for a freaking AWSOME game man im in love with it.

Can you guys comment at all about the walkoff homerun glitch?

And if not thats cool but then could you comment on the stolen base issue (way to many) and what we should do to fix it?

Are you guys 100% sure all the sliders work?
Pitcher stamina slider doesn't do much, if anything.
Pitcher control doesn't seem to do anything either. I really would like that one to work because its way too easy to pinpoint pitches.

And yes, I LOVE the game!

This one might be in play, might not...

Pitch speed slider - we know it speeds up the percieved speed, and doesn't affect the radar gun. But does it affect the path of a batted ball at all - in other words, do balls get hit harder, or are the hits the same strength?

I find that with the pitch speed slider maxed out, a fastball is more of a true-to-life speed, and greatly increases the difficulty. It's making it possible for me to play realistically on All-Star (rather than HOF) because of the decreased reaction time, and not being able to watch the pitch forever - and it's actually quite fun.

Re: AI Follow-up Questions...ie The Boys are back in town....

Hey Chris-

Awesome game, bought a PS3 really only to play this game on my LCD TV.

I'm a sim freak and the main thing that I constantly long for is more walks. I've toggled with sliders, and I still feel that I am no where near where it should be, getting 1-2 walks a game feels like an acocmplishment.

Any thoughts here? This would be especially cool in RTTS where my pitcher would be forced to walk more batters due to a lack fo control.

Also, just a thought for next year. It'd be really really sweet if we could kind of play an as-played version of the game, complete with the weekly roster updates. For example, if I'm in a franchise with the Rockies, all roster movement is forced off, and each Sunday on the schedule, I'd be able to download the CURRENT rosters from SCEA online. So I'd play the first week, the game would stop me and tell me to download the current rosters (or you could bypass if desired) and you go to download the rosters for that week.

TOTALLY random I know, but one thing I long for is being able to use real life MLB players as they get called up into real life MLB and are added to your online rosters. Currently if I started a franchise I'd never be able to add, say, Fukudome in the middle of the season.

Thanks for an awesome prodcut!

SCEA Team..........Thanks for coming around pre & post release & interacting with the forum.

A bigger thanks for a very solid baseball game

I'm still playing around with a short 14 game season till the opening day rosters hit....I love it!!!

Throughout the course of my RTTS & Franchises, I'll be sure to keep a log of any oddball things that occur ( as I am sure countless others here at OS will ) to make 09 that much better.

And thanks for the indepth AI follow up......you guys truly rock!

Re: AI Follow-up Questions...ie The Boys are back in town....

My only question is: Which of the sliders are placebo ones? IF/OF Speed and Throw Speed are, but are the other ones that aren't shown on the main menu screen ones as well? Also does pitch speed have an impact on how hard balls are hit?

And I need to throw in the token non-AI question just so someone sees it because its really bugging me: why is there no out of town scoreboard at the Rogers Centre? I mean, I'd understand it perfectly if this was the old Skydome and the scores were shown on a little screen that would translate horribly to a video game (similar to the current working scoreboards in Toronto). But there's two giant videoboards in LCF and RCF that are supposed to show them, and instead a logo just runs across the screen. Its a little frustrating since that was one of the more hyped-up features on here and I think every other stadium has it. Ah well.

Still one hell of a baseball game, and it can only get better with '09. I'd say I can't wait for '09, but I'm far too happy with '08 to be looking forward.
