You have to go into "Franchise" mode to get to the AAA & AA rosters. You can go to the "Inactive" list from the regular rosters to view the extra 15 players for each team.

You can use the "callups/send-downs" to be able to edit those guys but not any more than that. Also, in order to edit FA's you need to sign them onto some team before being allowed to do edit them. I haven't had time to check into some of the other workarounds but I'd be willing to bet that they will be different on the PS2 this year too. Thanks!
Yep...unfortunately he is correct from what I'm getting from guys...FOR PS2 ONLY...it works for PS3
You can't edit minor leaguers(the game generates them like it used to ...as you start a franchise) until you start a franchise.....blows....but at least they are there.

Both consoles have the 15 "Inactive" players list & I am well aware of that but I was just implying that this is the only way to edit any minor league players from outside of franchise mode on PS2. Thanks!

Hey Carew! I've been around but over the past couple months or so it's been on the NBA2K/CH2K forums. Now, it's time for some baseball & The Show. And, again I'll be using your CAPS just as in the past. You provide a lot of help & make playing The Show a much more enjoyable experience. Thanks again! BTW, with MLB 07 The Show I used every single one of your CAPS but as I placed these players into the game I deleted what I had.

By doing this then I've made it more difficult to apply the ones you posted to this years game. I hate the fact that the thread here on the forums that has your CAP directory can't be edited from the first post so all of your awesome CAPS can be easily found instead of spending soooooooo much time finding them. It just isn't any fun going through all these pages in which you posted all these CAPS.

You have provided tons of CAPS & I'm telling the honest truth when I say that I've used every single one of them. Now, some of the previous CAPS you've posted have been added to this years game but still not matching what you apply to any CAPS. Thanks for your efforts really.

Re: FIXES AND WORK AROUNDS

Just posted a couple of new ones....
One for the PS2 and the other regarding USB controllers that will allow you to change the CPU lineups at the lineup screen. No need to drop 50 bucks for that PS3 controller!

Trying to Find Teams' AAA & AA Rosters in Franchise Mode (PS3)

Knight, I tried this a few times, but I think there may be a step I'm missing....

I went to Franchise

Selected 1P (although I wanted to use 2P)

I clicked on saved rosters (the one I wanted to use)

got the screen where you select the team you want

*** this is where it's not good ***

the first time, I hit the triangle to back out of it.....?

the 2nd and 3rd times, I went as far as skipping spring training...and went to rosters...needless to say, that didn't work either.....

.....-Big thanks to RobNY on this one(friggin' LIFESAVER bro!)...and it's quite simple. Simply go to FRANCHISE...choose NEW 1P....let it start to the team screen and then back out of the franchise....now as long as you don't shut off the game....you can LOAD rosters....and see and edit the AAA and AA players. Nice!

I think Knight might need to clear things up for his recent post regarding the PS2. I see how he worded the fix in blue but this isn't actually the workaround fix #1 listed from his very 1st post. This is only to deal with the fake players like Reggie Stocker or any other FA they want to change.

You can't use workaround #1on the ps2 because there is no way to back out of the franchise to get to the minors(AAA,AA). No matter how you go about backing out then you can't use the trigger buttons to access the AAA & AA rosters period. This was also the case last year. The only thing you can do is go the the "Inactive" players to call them up to edit them but this isn't the same getting to the AAA & AA rosters screen. I just think Knight may need to re-word what he posted in blue because this is not the fix #1 here on the ps2 but something else. Thanks guys!

Did you get it RC?...
If not...

Start the game and go to start a new franchise. Doesn't matter what team...
Just back out of the franchise and it will tell you the default roster will load or something of that nature....hit the box button and go back to the main screen.
Now move over to the ROSTER...ROSTER EDIT screen.
Click on the EDIT screen and you will come up on the ML screen of a team.
Use the right stick....left and right to go through the ML, AAA and AA teams.
This is the default roster and you can edit this one. When you save this after making changes...the new saved roster will be the one you LOAD.
Let me know...

@ Knight

thank you bro! I got it! I was concerned too, because I had edited most ot the Rays players..and added a few to AAA and AA that were not in the game

When I back out, I still had those players saved, and I will keep saving...adding them to a new roster name.....

I owe you one!!!
