Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

I know this is impossible but I was just thinking of how cool it would be to have local announcers. Maybe the show 2015. Maybe they could have the locals do the home run call when it goes to the HR animation. I would love to hear John Sterling do his ridiculous " It is high, It is far, IIIIIItt is Gone." I'd even settle for " Ballgame over, Yankees win. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Yankees WIN!!!!

ab713, when you see something posted that sounds worth it, why don't you edit your first post and add it. That way, it will be organized in one place and it increases our chances of having a SCEA developer read it.

Here are a couple of things I came up with:

1) dynamic stadium lighting: Night games should start when it's still light out, and get progressively darker as the game goes on. For day games, maybe the shadows should change over the course of the game to reflect the changing sun.

2) Continue to make RTTS deeper and deeper, and maybe change it so you can change your player's attributes in-season (stuff like bat color, glove color, facial hair, etc; in other words, stuff that can change over time)

Not a big thing.. but some design on the players shoes would be nice. They look really bland all solid black..

How about an offline feature for a batting and pitching cage. I would still spend time in the batting cage for fun.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

I would like the ability to edit my RTTS guy in everything except attributes. If I want to change a batting stance or pitching motion I should be able to. As well as making the hair longer/shorter or adding/removing facial hair. Just the ability to change the appearance would be nice and would keep it fresh.

Also, I haven't gotten this far into it yet, but do players actually age as they get into their mid-30's? That would be cool too.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Not sure it has been mentioned in this thread but I suspect it probably has been. either way it is worth mentioning again.

Please allow us a way, through SportsConnect, to download rosters created by users. Just has to be done. This is the next generation and these kinds of abilities were promised to us before the ps3 and 360 were even released (promised to be in the next gen that is).

Yeah, let's add one of the single most annoying sports broadcasters in the history of professional sports to this game. He would be a terrific addition.....if taking a hammer to the PS3 sounds like your cup of tea.

How about "Create a Stance" mode, where you have an upper body choice and a lower body choice, it seems like a simple thing to do and it would provide all the variety we would need...

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

fielding in Road to the Show.

Right stick glove placement i.e. the position you put the glove in order to make the catch based on the type of incoming throw.

Right Stick (RS) controls in player lock/RTTS

RS up for high throw
RS down for low throw
RS left for throws to the left
RS Right for throws to the right

Advanced RS

RS up + R2(jump button) for jumping with glove extended over head for balls thrown way over your head
RS down + R1(kneeling or stretch) for grounders
RS left + R1 kneeling or stretch to the left
RS right + R1 kneeling or stretch to the right

Essentially, I would like to to see all spectrums i.e. like fight night represent your arm placement for all possible throws just not limited to the ones I suggested.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

For fly balls and such, instead of having the outline with the shrinking baseball appear right away, there should just be the shrinking baseball and it should follow the path of the ball in the air....like follow its shadow. That way it'll make it a little harder to catch fly balls because you would have to judge when its going to land instead of just running to a spot and standing there like an idiot while an animation takes place. Know what I'm saying?

Also, I think the addition of a button for the batter to call time and step outta the box would be useful in exhibition games. Cuz there are times when I have a runner on base and the person I'm playing against will take forever to pitch because they are worried about the runner going and it makes it kinda uneasy at the plate. What do u think?
